PTO...Use It Or Lose It!
Use this Blog as your friendly reminder to use your PTO! Not only have you earned your PTO, but it's part of your compensation package. So, by not using it, you are essentially throwing away money (and time if we're being honest) because it's part of the total comp of what an employer is paying you.
If you are entering a busy season, plan a vacation that happens after the season is over. If you just ended a busy season, you should already have a trip or staycation planned!

At the very least, your brain and your body will have a chance to "reset," -- and it doesn't require a plane trip. You could take a day off and go for a walk in a local park, take a nap, or read a book quietly at home.
